Shiranee pens book to promote good governance through media

When practically the hooks and crooks who get elected are hell bent in stealing and resorting to violence to cover up their illegal activities, what kind of book can ensure good governance. The attitude of those who gets elected must be changed, unless they become patriotic minded and worry about the country and peoples woes.

I think this is an opportune time for such a book. After decades, people have now elected a corruption free government. However, there are still remnants of previous corrupt governments up and about. The pivotal role of the media in promoting good governance and stifling efforts of bad elements is vital for our democracy to flourish. Our lives have been wasted with this rotten lot but let’s at least give our offspring a better country to live in.
