‘Rata Hellu Adhikarana Theendu’ Senior journalist Abeynayake launches book on law

A book symposium on ‘Rata Hellu Adhikarana Theendu’ (Verdicts in law that shook the nation), authored by Senior Court Reporter of Divaina, A.J.A. Abeynayake, will take place on February 18 (Tuesday) at 3 p.m. at the Sri Lanka Press Council (SLPC) auditorium in Torrington Avenue, Colombo.

The event is organised by the SLPC and will be conducted by Senior Journalist Gamini Kandepola.
Distinguished guests attending the symposium include: Additional Solicitor General Dileepa Pieris, PC; Sri Lanka Law College Principal Prasantha Lal de Alwis, PC; Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Sri Jayewardenepura Prof. Rasanjalee Perera; Voice of Asia TV Channel News Director and Senior Journalist Lal Hemantha Mawalage; and former Secretary to the Ministry of Mass Media, Senior Journalist Daya Sri Narendra Rajapaksa.
