Project Transform has taken steps to invite Sri Lankan Government School Principals to a free leadership webinar on transforming English learning through visionary school leadership with the final aim of preparing students for a global future.
The webinar will be held on March 22, 2026, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon (Sri Lanka Time) via Zoom. Admission is free, and steps will be taken to share the Zoom link with registered participants. The topic of the webinar is ‘Preparing Students for a Global Future - Transforming English Learning through visionary school leadership.
The Presenter of the webinar is Dr. Madhubhashini Disanayaka
Ratnayake who is a writer, translator and an academic.
Project Transform is a civil society organisation shaping the future of K-13 education in Sri Lanka.
Project Transform notes that education is the cornerstone of building “a progressive, prosperous, inclusive, and peaceful nation,” and that Sri Lanka’s schools need leadership that can enable innovative practices and the integration of essential 21st-century skills across classrooms. In the context of English learning, this requires a shift from subject-only instruction to a whole-school culture where communication, confidence, and real-world language use are consistently supported through leadership, teacher empowerment, and school-wide vision.
This leadership-focused webinar will share practical approaches for principals to, strengthen a school-wide English learning culture, build student confidence and communication, align English learning with global skills and future pathways and lead sustainable change through vision, consistency, and teacher empowerment.
All those who meet the criterion to participate in this webinar are advised to register early.
Those interested are requested to register via Email [email protected] or contact Yukthi K. Gunasekera, Chairman Project Transform, on 077 999 2442 (SMS / WhatsApp) for further information.
