The Global Education Platform (GEP), a leading international education network, celebrated its 7th anniversary recently.

The event marked seven transformative years of empowering higher education and the official launch of ‘GEPic Journeys’, a non-traditional education arm for creating engaging content that explores education, emerging topics, and career guidance. This new initiative aims to bridge the gap between learning and real-world application, inspiring audiences through stories that connect knowledge with opportunity.

At the anniversary celebration, GEP also unveiled ‘GEPic Journeys Season 3’, a documentary series capturing diverse careers and first-hand experiences. The new season delves into themes of resilience, creativity, and human connection, spotlighting stories that embody GEP’s mission to inspire positive change through education and storytelling.

“This event isn’t just about celebrating seven years. It’s about honouring the journey we’ve taken from the very beginning, the challenges we faced, the growth we achieved, and the milestones we reached along the way. And as we celebrate this moment, we’re also looking ahead with excitement, committed to growing even further and continuing our mission to become a leading provider in the education sector,” said Dr. Denham Perera.

The milestone celebration brought together more than 100 professionals, entrepreneurs, and industry leaders at the dynamic ‘GEPic Community Networking Event’.

Beyond academics, GEP demonstrates a strong commitment to social impact through its flagship CSR initiative at Padaviya in partnership with ‘Live, Love and Give’ (LLG), a non-profit organisation in Sri Lanka. This project is devoted to empowering rural communities in Sri Lanka by offering educational programs, scholarships, talent showcases, and art exhibitions. The ongoing efforts in Padaviya continue to transform lives and bridge the gap between opportunity and access

In its seven-year journey, GEP has established itself as a pioneer in education, bringing together 2,150 students, 16 institutional partners, and 40 international partners, along with more than 50 qualified and accredited tutors, both internal and external. The platform provides globally recognised qualifications and personalised support, empowering students to reach their full potential in a rapidly changing world.
