Dr Ananda Wijewickrama will have the honour of being ceremonially inducted as the President of this association for the year 2024.
The ceremonial induction of Dr Ananda Wijewickrama as the President of the Sri Lanka Medical Association (SLMA) for the year 2024 will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024. According to a media release by the SLMA, the ceremony will be held at 6.00 pm, at the New Auditorium of the Academic Centre, Postgraduate Institute of Medicine, Rodney Street, Colombo 08.
The SLMA is the oldest medical organization in Australasia, with a proud history going back to the year 1887. It is a well-established medical association recognized nationally, regionally and internationally.
