Celebrating International Music Day: French Embassy hosts two musical evenings in Sri Lanka

On 21 and 22 June, Sri Lanka will once again resonate with the vibrant sounds of the Fête de la Musique, also known internationally as International Music Day. Organised by the Embassy of France in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, this musical event marks its return with two evenings of live performances in Colombo and Kandy.

French singer and writer Anaïs Rosso, whose blues-inspired style and evocative lyrics offer an intimate musical experience, will perform in Colombo and Kandy, followed by Tha Youngest, a Swiss-Sri Lankan DJ and Sri Lankan band FUNK ISLAND. 

The concerts offer audiences the experience of a unique blend of French and Sri Lankan musical talent in a festive atmosphere. The embassy welcomes everyone, and entry is free, with no registration required.
