Annual Josephian Carols scheduled for December 20

The St. Cecilia’s Choir of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee with a carol service scheduled for December 20 at the College Chapel

The St. Cecilia’s Choir of St. Joseph’s College, Colombo 10, will celebrate its Diamond Jubilee with a carol service which is scheduled for December 20 at the College Chapel. The choir session will begin at 6pm. 

The event is titled ‘Dominus Spes Mea’ - “The Lord is my Hope”. 

The Carolers of St. Cecilia’s Choir, along with the Josephian Primary Choir, Old Joes Choir and the Teachers’ Choir, will showcase their talents at the event. This is the 60th Annual Josephian Carols and the Carolers will sing in Sinhala, Tamil, English, German, French, and Latin.

Those who departed due to the recent catastrophic cyclone will be remembered on this day. Prayers will be offered to God on behalf of our brothers and sisters who were affected by the cyclone to recuperate expeditiously. 

His Lordship Most Rev. Dr. Wimal Siri Jayasuriya, the Bishop of Chilaw, will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest.
