A Felicitation to Nissanka Diddeniya by the Alumni of the University of Peradeniya

In celebration of an eminent acting career spanning over 55 years, the Alumni Association of the University of Peradeniya, Colombo Chapter (AAUPCC), organised a felicitation programme for veteran artiste Nissanka Diddeniya. The event was held on 10th January 2025 at the Punchi Theater, Borella.

As part of the tribute, Prof. Mangala Senanayake’s Sinhala drama, “Sindukara Kavinaluwa,” was staged, with Nissanka Diddeniya playing a key role in the performance.
