Sri Lankan HC in South Africa celebrates Independence Day

The Sri Lankan HC in South Africa celebrated the Independence Day under the guidence of HC Former Air Force Commander Air Vice Marshal Udeni Rajapaksa and Mrs. Enoka Rajapaksa recently.

The occasion saw the presence of members of the diplomatic corps, and the  Sri Lankan community enjoying a delectable Sri Lankan breakfast and a promotional display of local crafts and tea. Guests were also offered a chance to win local handicrafts at an entrance raffle. 

The High Commissioner shared the government's vision of rebuilding the nation in his speech.
