The premiere of Half a Man was a powerful, first-of-its-kind event in Sri Lanka, held at PVR Cinemas, dedicated entirely to men’s mental health. The screening brought together creators, mental health advocates, and the public for an emotional and deeply human experience. For many, it was the first time they saw men’s silent struggles reflected on the big screen. The event sparked raw conversations, silent tears, and a long-overdue sense of solidarity. More than just a film screening, it was a safe space—one that challenged stigma, invited vulnerability, and opened the door for healing and honest dialogue.
