SOSL POPS A Trilingual Extravaganza

The Symphony Orchestra of Sri Lanka recently presented its third SOSL POPS, A Trilingual Extravaganza concert at the Bishop's College Auditorium. Sponsored by Sampath Bank, the performance was not only a celebration of music but also of culture, collaboration, and the shared joy that comes from hearing different languages and traditions come alive on one stage. Conducted by Nishantha Warnakulasuriya and featuring soloists Umaria Sinhawansa, Thaasiha Raj, Eshan Denipitiya, and SOSL soloists Naveen Fernando and Ajit Kodikkara, the concert was further enriched by a combined choir comprising singers from The Old Joe's Choir, The Peterite Chorale, Menaka Singers and Resonance. The concert received a well-deserved standing ovation from an enthusiastic and elated audience.
