GMSC x WAYO Mathaka Thanu 2

The Gustav Mahler Symphony Orchestra of Colombo concluded its 2025/2026 season with two sold-out performances at the Lionel Wendt Theatre. The second edition of its signature series Mathaka Thanu (Melodic Memoirs), featured the acclaimed pop ensemble WAYO, led by Sangeeth Wijesuriya. The concerts were conducted by Chief Conductor Srimal Weerasinghe, with all pieces arranged by Concertmaster Darshana Amarasinghe. The programme also spotlighted outstanding solo performances by Darshana Amarasinghe, Manoj Wijayawardana, and Vidhurinda Samaraweera, bringing the season to a memorable and musically rich close.
