Buddhi k. steps down

Sri Lanka Film Exhibitors Association Chairman Dr. Buddhi Keerthisena has stepped own from his post.

“As the Chairman of the association I worked tirelessly to recognize and defend the rights of film exhibitors. I discussed the problems of exhibitors with the highest authorities in the country. But now I feel I should step down since I need to relieve myself from hassles,” he said.

“We actively participated in moves to streamline various sectors in the local film industry and resolving issues of film exhibitors, but I regret that we never got a positive response from the relevant ministry during the past few years,” he said.
