AmCham Sri Lanka Her Story, Her Voice

The American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham Sri Lanka) recently hosted Her Story, Her Voice at the Cumulus Ballroom, Cinnamon Life – City of Dreams Sri Lanka, bringing together distinguished women leaders to share their journeys of leadership, resilience, and influence. Moderated by Savithri Rodrigo, the evening opened with a fireside chat featuring former Mayor of Colombo, Rosy Senanayake and Justice Shiranee Tilakawardane, who reflected on overcoming barriers, leading with resilience, and the values that shaped their remarkable careers in public service. This was followed by a panel discussion with Manjula Mathews and Shehara De Silva, who shared insights on balancing legacy with innovation and leading family enterprises through evolving business landscapes. The evening concluded with a networking and wine-and-dine session, offering senior corporate executives, policymakers, entrepreneurs and emerging leaders the opportunity to exchange ideas and build valuable professional connections.
