Several supporters of President Gotabaya Rajapaksa are presently conducting a rally in Kollupitiya carrying slogans "We want Gota" against the "Go Home Gota" protests which are presently underway in several areas.
The protestors are making their way towards the Presidential Secretariat in Kollupitiya carrying the national flag and calling out "We want Gota".
Security has been heightened in the area.

We don't mind having Gota but he does not appear to be the same Gota who won the war for us. He appears to be very weak, takes haphazard decisions, all good intentions but implementation takes several hurdles. None of the other politicians is better than him. They are all same or worse. So by sending him home we will not achieve anything. However, we want kaputas gone or in jail.
