The Department of Motor Traffic (DMT) has decided to provide their service during weekdays in the Western Province (WP) soon after restoring the fuel crisis to some extent.
The DMT has decided to provide services such as vehicle registration and issuing revenue licences during working days.
People can get their vehicles registered and get their revenue licences from Maligawatta and from the DMT head offices.
People can also log on to the motor traffic department's official website at www.motortraffic.wp.gov.lk and get their revenue licences through the online system.
Also, the DMT has decided not to penalize for renewing revenue licence that are due to expire on June 29 and has decided not to penalize for those vehicles until August 31. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)
