Discussion of the UNP seniors which was to be held yesterday was postponed indefinitely, party sources said yesterday.

Party sources, however, declined to give a reason for the postponement but only said it was put off due to unavoidable circumstance. Party seniors were to meet yesterday to decide on future political strategies. It was reported earlier that there is a proposal to have an interim arrangement for the party under which a leadership council will be appointed to handle the general elections campaign while a decision on the leadership would be made later. Great and merciful God saved the country by making Sajith lose the election.

    Robert R Tuesday, 10 December 2019 11:48 AM

Ranil should not leave, people oppose Ranil and support Sajith because they are expecting concessions from him, time being he may promise, but finally, it won't, look SP, so ignorant, as a child could not pass his OL, could not win his electorate, what else, don't deviate from your target

The best story ever of the UNP and not sure how they ran the country from 2015 -2019. Country went to dogs and people made the right choice this time in 2019

    Rakith Tuesday, 10 December 2019 01:24 PM

Please dismantle UNP same as BBS did after Gota's win.

    Arthur G Tuesday, 10 December 2019 07:04 PM
