Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MPs staged a protest outside the Parliament complex alleging that ruling party MPs were behaving in a violent manner.
They said they would boycott parliamentary sessions until their security was ensured.
SJB MPs walked out of Parliament last Saturday also asking the Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardene to ensure their security.
