The Power and Energy Ministry will introduce a platform to share information on the availability of fuel at filling stations island wide.
Minister Kanchana Wijesekera yesterday said the above platform would be available for registered customers in ten days' time.
"The new system will alert the registered customers and share information such as the availability of fuel, stocks in hand at filling stations, fuel distribution schedules etc," he said.
Upon the information on the new platform, people would be able to figure out the most convenient and easiest way to refill their vehicles' fuel tanks without waiting at queues for hours, he said.
This was disclosed following a discussion with the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA) yesterday on creating the said platform. (Chaturanga Samarawickrama)

No need for big dramas. Use an online app builder to create a mobile app using drag and drop for iOS and Android. You only need 30 mins to do it.

There are plenty of sites that carry obsolete info because the concerned people do not believe in updating.
