Parliament approves emergency regulations

The emergency regulations declared by the then Acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe were approved in Parliament today with 120 MPs voting for it and 63 against.

The state of emergency was declared in a proclamation by Acting President Ranil Wickremesinghe in terms of Article 40(1)(C) of the Constitution in the interests of public security, the protection of public order and the maintenance of supplies and services essential to the life of the community.(Ajith Siriwardana and Yohan Perera)

In fact, it is clear that emergency rules are against civilians and innocent citizens. Now, we know who are the selfish devils in the parliament, no matter what, the devils only want to protect their seats and pocket. They don't care about the country and people at all. What is the use of 120 elected devils? People should learn from this point. It is enough! All demons must be cast out to save our country and its citizens from further destruction and harm.

The ruling elite of Srilanka, used emergency regulations to carry out human rights abuses against the minorities and now the majority are at the receiving end. Time to kick these corrupt lot out along with their cronies in forces and judiciary. Srilankans have suffered enough!!
