Claiming that the new LP gas manufacturing process has been slow due to recalling and removing gas from previously released gas cylinders with blue and black seal to the market, Litro Gas Ltd said immediate actions were being taken to cater to the domestic and commercial daily needs.

The Litro Gas said in a statement that two gas shipments have already unloaded to the Gas Terminal and Filling Plant by yesterday (27).

It said that around 30,000 to 40,000 gas cylinders (12.5 kg) were being manufactured and distributed daily at the moment and that gas is produced as per the standards and supervision of the Consumer Affairs Authority (CAA).

Litro said that the new gas manufacturing process has been slow as it takes long time to recall and remove gas from cylinders with blue and black seal which had been released to the market earlier.

It said steps have already been taken to import technical equipment required to expedite the manufacturing process and assured that it will be able to supply gas without any delay in the future.

We are suffering without gas and you are still going with snails speed. When will you start regular supply and end queues?

Recalling, removing and refilling? What a lie. What was a normal routine process a few months ago has now become a major hassle for the consumers. The result of our presidents' knack for appointing most unsuitable persons for key posts. The danger of gas equipment exploding still lingers creating unnecessary fear in the minds of the public.

Aren't those heading Litro Gas company accountable for their actions or lack of actions. Look at the mess we are in right now? We were not in this kind of situation before.
