Can we trust country legal system any more??? Seems to be biased

    TS Wednesday, 10 August 2022 11:32 AM

Being mislead by the leader to achieve his ulterior motives. He still sends fathers to the road to continue protesting when the people are struggling to restore back their normal life.

In the absence of Yellow robed types who thronged against the Yahapalana govt. the Catholic Church took the lead to defeat the evil forces.

Fought like a so-called lion on the streets, hides like a Hyena in front of law

Not hiding man, no faith in the justice system of this country.

I am extremely disappointed with the comments made by TS and Prageeth. Majority of the Sri Lankans are selfish, coward, idiots. They deserved to perish to death.

What about the the one who assaulted Father Jeevantha? Does he go Scot free?He is a lion unlike the the ones who feed on others efforts and critisise from their arm chairs.

Neil, yours is usually tactics used by terrorists to keep them in the fold.

We salute for your selfless struggle for the corrupted Ranil RAYAPAKSA regimen. All Srilankans are behind you.

Witch hunting by the government to stop aragalaya. Aragalaya will rise again soon with more vigour

    Chamath Wednesday, 10 August 2022 03:33 PM

Lucky fellow, he will get Swiss or Canadian citizenship soon.

Anne Karunaratne Wednesday, 10 August 2022 03:35 PM

100% In agreement with Surath Thani. At times I wonder if he's actually a Catholic priest?? Are Catholic priests allowed to grow their hair that long???? Whatever it is, he brought disgrace upon the entire Catholic church!! When you take part in protests and take part in unruly things, you must be ready to face the consequences, irrespective of the fact that you are a clergyman! It's very easy to hide behind a robe to do this kind of thing and then they expect "respect" cos they are "priests"!

We salute Fr Jeewantha, You had the backbone to stand against injustice, you stood with the people, you showed the true spirit of Jesus. Do not worry about the police and the people who are trying to put you behind bars. please feel sympathy towards them. These people are weak and trying to find some personal gains against by carrying out the wishes of the evil.

Kumaran Shun Wednesday, 10 August 2022 07:11 PM

Father, all true patriotic Srilankans, irrespective race or religion are behind you. We salute all those who valiantly fought a mad leader and ousted him. There are stooges who write here attacking Catholic fathers, because those profited from the regime that ruined the country. Mills of the god grinds slow but sure.

Even Jesus Christ had long hair, so what is wrong? Long hair, short hair or long beard does not matter. It is the intention of the Aragalaya matters. Most of the population of the country already enjoys the result of the Aragalaya.

I am sure Justice Gamage is as impartial and merciful as he was with Johnston, which acted as a criminal.

Rienzie Wannithantri Wednesday, 10 August 2022 09:48 PM

I know my comment will never see the light. But matters relating to irresponsible white robe is further assisted by Rangith Malcom by getting Rienzie A to defend him.M Ringith is a total disgrace to the SL Catholics whether in sl or out of SL EX parishioner from ST James Mutwal.
