Army Commander General Shavendra Silva said authorities had today commenced administering the COVID-19 vaccines for the 20 to 30 age group at the district levels.
Silva told Daily Mirror that those within this age group at the district levels could obtain their jabs.
The Health Ministry said that some 3.7 million people, who are between the ages of 20 to 30 were expected to be vaccinated under this vaccination drive.

Sri Lanka has only 3.2 million population between 20-29 and already 30 is vaccinated. Recently govt. said ~ 1 million below 30 people from factories and frontline already vaccinated. So the actual number should be only 2.2 million.
