Mention of CIABOC DG causes argument in Parliament

Colombo, Sept. 26 (Daily Mirror) - Heated arguments erupted when Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Mujibur Rahman mentioned that the current Director General of the Commission to Investigate Allegations on Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) has been working for the Janatha Vimukthi Peramuna (JVP) Legal Affairs Unit. 

MP Rahman accordingly questioned the independence of the CIABOC. 

Speaker Jagath Wickramaratne then found fault with the MP saying he was wasting valuable time. 

"What are you MPs talking about? You are wasting time," he was heard saying.
