30-hour water disruption to hit parts of Galle

Colombo, Oct. 20 (Daily Mirror) - The National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced a 30-hour water cut affecting several areas in the Galle District from 8:00 a.m. today (20).

The water supply will remain suspended until 2:00 p.m. tomorrow (21) to carry out essential repairs on the main pipeline connected to the Hapugala Water Treatment Plant.

Accordingly, residents in Bope, Poddala, Akmeemana, and Rathgama will experience the interruption, the Water Board said.
