Divorce is not a criminal offence! In fact, it can be uplifting and liberating rather than staying in a dead marriage. Many couples remain together for the sake of the children, but honestly, it often does more harm than good. Children who grow up in such environments rarely experience what real love and affection look like. If people going through a divorce can handle the process with respect, dignity, and mutual consent—without being vindictive—they can remain the best of friends and genuinely wish each other well. This way, children will see that their parents are still parents, regardless of the divorce. Unfortunately, many individuals end up trying to control or hurt the other and use the children to bad-mouth each other. Divorce is simply a process, like any other and if managed with maturity and understanding, it can lead to peace and personal growth for everyone involved.
