  • Tissa Fernando :By looking at the life style of these people you can easily identify the suspects. Look at all custom officers life style, their cars, their houses, their daily expenses, they could not have done with official payments from their jobs. Look at all politicians who have obtained massive wealth after winning the election, Look at the political parties spending lavishly ( including NPP) fir the campaign, where do you think the money come from? The only issue here is that only government authorities can obtain proof of these corruptions. Read even Auditor General reports . It is full of corruption stories. But no action is taken because it is the corrupt guys who vote and who get elected all the time.

  • PEOPLE BE STRONG AND VOTE ACCORDING TO ONES OWN CIRCUMSTANCES IF THE POOR, DISADVANTAGED AND MIDDLE CLASS ARE TO RIASE THEIR HEADS. :Johan, you are absolutely correct, for NO other reason that a election spin hoping to get votes. However, as per usual comes a time when those in power start HALUCINATING when they see they are between the DEVIL and the DEEP BLUE SEA and struggling for existence. The PEOPLE have woken up from a deep sleep and now realise their only HOPE in getting out of the SUFFERING they have endured the past few decades is to VOTE for a NEW PRESIDENT AND A NEW GOVERNMENT, IS THE ONLY WAY IN ELEMINATING WILD SPREAD CORRUPTION IN THE GOVERNMENT AND PUBLIC SERVICE. PRAYERS OUR PEOPLE WILL VOTE FOR FREEDOM OF SPEECH, A BETTER LIFE AND A PROSPEROUS COUNTRY LED BY A NEW GOVERNMENT. GOVT'S IN THE PAST HAVE SERVED THEMSELVES, NOT THE COUNTRY AND ITS PEOPLE.

  • Ram :Most of the suburban pipelines were completed in the late 1950s and early 1960s. They are not geared to serve us indefinitely. Successive governments should have undertaken to lay new pipe lines.
