Huawei Facebook Group for smartphone photography enthusiasts

Huawei, the number one growing smartphone brand in Sri Lanka, commenced a Facebook Group recently as a platform for Huawei users to showcase their photography talents through the quad lenses of the newly launched nova 2i.


All members of the group have the opportunity to share photographs and discuss tips for capturing the perfect shot receive photography tips from professional photographers and further engage with other photography enthusiasts. Furthermore, the Huawei Facebook group conducts monthly photography competitions, commencing with its on-going ‘Sights of Sri Lanka’ phone photography contest. Huawei users are encouraged to participate in the ‘Sights of Sri Lanka’ photography competition by sharing photographs which capture the history, culture or beauty of Sri Lanka.


Speaking about the new concept, Huawei Device Sri Lanka Marketing Manager Ruwan Gamage said: “One of the main attributes that we have seen with the Huawei nova 2i is that it leverages on innovative features such as its first quad camera with a bezel-less full view display, making it the perfect smartphone to capture and view photographs. The Huawei nova 2i also happens to be one of the best smartphones in its price category, when compared with other products in the market place. The new Huawei Facebook group will bring together amateur and professional photographers alike, who could express their creative talent through the art of photography.” The purpose of this group is to create a platform for Huawei users to exchange beautiful photographs captured with their Huawei phones, exchange views, interact with other members online and exchange best practices and individual know-how with regards to smartphone usage and settings. Group members would also have access to photography tips and tricks from professional photographers as well as the chance to take part in some exciting competitions to win amazing prizes. The page tagged ‘Huawei Nova Series Sri Lanka’ has garnered positive feedback and has gained traction with over 1200 plus group members under a month. Huawei would like to invite all customers who own a Huawei device with the passion for photography to log on to Facebook and join the ‘Huawei Nova 2i Series Sri Lanka’ Facebook page and start sharing experiences around them.
