Police hunt for girl abducted in Daulagala

Three police teams have launched investigations to locate a girl abducted by a group of individuals who arrived in Daulagala.
The police initiated the investigation following a formal complaint and the circulation of a video of the abduction on social media.
It has been captured on CCTV camera.  According to the footages, the girl is seen being bundled into a vehicle by a person while her friend runs away. 

Another person also tries to rescue the girl from her abductor,  according to the footages. 

According to the police the incident occurred on the morning of Sunday, January 11.
They said the girl, a resident of Handessa in the Daulagala police division, was abducted while on her way to school with a friend. 

The van’s driver has been arrested, and the vehicle is also taken into the police custody.

It was revealed that the main suspect in the abduction is the son of the girl’s father’s sister.
Investigations revealed that the abduction was prompted by a family dispute, as the girl’s father had disapproved of the marriage despite initial consent from both parties.
Police have deployed three teams to find the girl and arrest the main suspect.
