Pets reared at homes increased; rice used for feeding not calculated: President

The President said during a television programme that the number of pets reared at homes has increased and the amount of rice being utlised for feeding them has not been calculated. 
 “Sometimes, the number of pets reared at homes have also increased. In our calculations, what is the amount of rice allocated for that?
