Senior Advisor to the President and Chief of the Presidential Staff Sagala Ratnayake said that the President was able to establish law and order in the country, while recovering the economy. Commenting on the government’s ‘Aswesuma’ welfare benefit programme, he said the final list will only be drafted after July 10.
"There are 491,000 appeals were made regarding the Aswesuma programme, while 6,791 complaints have also been received. There will be time until the 10th to register complaints and appeals, following which the final list will be drafted,” he said.
