The remains of the late versatile actor Jackson Anthony, was brought to his private residence in 90/A/8, Wanigasuriya Watte, Ragama Road in Kadawatha today (11) early morning.
Public will be allowed to pay their last respects to the remains of late Mr. Anthony until Thursday (12) afternoon, until the funeral that will take place at the St. Peter’s and Paul’s Church in Ragama later that day.
Mr. Anthony, 65, who passed away on Monday (9), was treated for nearly 14 months at the National Hospital, after receiving severe injuries during shooting a new movie in the Anuradhapura district, when the cab he travelled collided with a wild elephant last year.
Mr. Anthony, 65, was a versatile stage, drama and cinema actor, is also a well versed historian on Sri Lankan culture and traditions, as well as a singer, director and script writer.

Very sympathy for veteran actor Jackson Anthony. God remembers him tenderly. Life like a mist appears for just a little longer and disappears tomorrow. Please refer to jw.org. Always look to God. God will resurrect him into wonderful earth. Henry
