I had more respect for him until he now has started talking nonsense. Although better than most of the opposition politicians, he has achieved nothing. We as Sri Lankans give too much credence to PhD's. If one examines closer, he really has no academic qualifications on development economics of a country. He may have the basic knowledge to understand it better than the chain snatchers. Do not forget the fact that he was the 'Economics Guru' once with a GOSL, and failed to steer the country out of harms way. Then again, once we had a double doctor better than him who failed too. However, glad that we have politicians of his caliber in the legislature. We all need to work towards the goal of a law abiding government for the benefit of all Sri Lankans.
