SLPG, a prominent facilitator of solar power systems, is excited to announce its new partnership with Softlogic Glomark, launching solar systems in six different locations across Sri Lanka. With a combined capacity of 982.43 kWp, this endeavor signifies a significant step towards renewable energy adoption. Notably, Softlogic Glomark – Negombo leads the way with a capacity of 219.4 kWp.
This initiative marks substantial progress in reducing carbon emissions from Softlogic Glomark Delkanda to Thalawathugoda, with each location having an installed capacity of more than a 100 KW each and all being monitored centrally by SLPG, fostering a greener and more sustainable future for Sri Lanka.
The environmental impact is significant, generating 1,362.63 MWh of electricity annually and reducing CO2 emissions by 735.82 tons, equivalent to planting nearly 16,000 trees. Additionally, these solar installations prevent the use of 681.32 tons of coal and 1,362,630 liters of diesel each year, effectively mitigating environmental degradation.
This collaboration between SLPG and Softlogic Glomark sets a precedent for businesses across Sri Lanka to adopt renewable energy solutions and prioritize sustainability. For more information about SLPG and its initiatives, please visit www.slpg.lk/.
