Left-arm fast bowler Dilshan Madushanka remains a doubt for the second ODI against India tomorrow, after dislocating his right shoulder in Tuesday’s first ODI.
Madushanka picked up the injury while fielding in the outfield and was sent for an x-ray and MRI scan yesterday.
“Upon receiving the said reports, the team management will decide on the future course of action pertaining to the player,” Sri Lanka Cricket said.
Sri Lanka appear to have averted another injury concern with all-rounder Chamilka Karunaratne expected to be available for the second ODI after injuring his upper lip on Tuesday.
SLC said Karunaratne was struck by the ball just before the toss in the lead up to Tuesday’s first ODI, and received three stitches and took part in the game as per the recommendation of the team's medical staff.
