A female student who was engaged in the protest march by the Inter Student Collective for the Protection of Higher National Diploma in Accountancy (HNDA) being attacked with a baton by a police officer near Town Hall today. This not the right way to solve the problem of these university students. After all they are all citizen of Sri Lanka and future of Sri Lanka. They have the right to protest or demand for their rights. It should be the Government that should take the full responsibility and should have invited these student for a face to face talks and resolve their problems.
