Something different than the constant gifted Chinese scrap ships.

Saves the US from spending money to have it scrapped. This is an old junkie.

Even if it is an old junkie it has benefit to SL who cannot even afford to buy a paper plane at the moment. Be grateful for small mercies. This should be the attitude of recipients who don't have a cent to scratch their backside.

I hope they have checked and re - re checked this ship for 'bugs' within it so US can monitor exactly where and what this 'ship' is doing! MM

Thank you America. We have two superpowers America and China to help our forces if and when one day we defend against an Indian invasion. Today anti Sri Lankan “psycho” D B S Jeyaraj is paying underhand compliment to America using two aliases Sokrates and Mozaru.

For those who think that the ship is bugged by the US! What will the US gain by its posting or course? It's not a high tech stealth cruiser with nuclear capabilities. It's just an off shore patrol craft. Thank you USA for the generosity. We can do well with reliable vessels such as this for patrolling the seas of our small nation!

Beautiful piece of equipment. Hope our fellows take good care of it. Whilst it sits pretty on the dock when not on duty, a viable source of income could be pursued. Charge a reasonable fee of 500/- bucks per ticket for those willing to see it. Naval dinners to a general public wiling to pay for it, could also be organised. Keep it classy though. These proceeds can be used solely for a maintenance and upkeep fund, to keep the ship in tip top shape. Or else, that too will be taken off the coffers.
