Opening of spill gates in the Udawalawa reservoir last night resulted in floods in the low lying areas.  Several houses in Puhulyaya, Malekolaniya, Ridiyagama, Gallelithota, Borelessa ,Walawewatta were under water. By Sanath Gamage
