Gamini was definitely a statesman though at times was a 'puppet' of the Indians and RAW agency.
If not for the untimely demise, the SL politica landscape must have been quite different today.
Its a shame to see his children are bending into Rajapakshas who is nothing compared to the great man.

Chamal is the only person, who could be filtered from the Rajapakse family. But still I don't accept the son of a great hero to bend anyone from the Rajapakse familiy.

Apart from his other achievements as a great politician, Gamini will always be remembered as long as there is SL cricket! Sadly his children are not of his caliber. Shame
