Tobacco is the least of our worries, absence of law and order, corruption and cost of living should be on top of the list.

Prohibition by legislation never works in any country. Smoking is definitely bad for ones health, there is no doubt about that. But will any Government really take action to stop the very large sum of money coming into its coffers by way of exercise tax on tobacco products? I doubt it very much. Its a question of educating the public to the health hazards of smoking which will eventually curtail the smoking habit. Liquor on the other hand seems to be a panacea for many ills and no country has successfully curtailed the use of alcohol. Its a lost cause even attempting to stop it.

how come they are not rallying in front of the tobacco company ? and why wont anyone ban betal spitting in public place as they have done for smoking ?
