The 25th consecutive “Adipooram” festival of the Wellawaththa Mayurapathi Kovil was held today. Pictures show a procession heralding the opening of the festival, which took place from the Wellawatta Pillayar Kovil and ended at the Mayurapathi Kovil in Havelock town. Pix by Pradeep Dilrukshana
