UNIVERISTIES MUST MAKE SOME INCOME ALSO BY DOING REASERCH WORKS AND DOING EXTERNAL COURSES, THESE INCOME CAN BE USED TO INCREASE THE SALRY OF UNIVERSITY STAFF.

hopefully govt will allocate 6% OF GDP, what plan you have to develop our education. if you have a proper plan, pls show us now.

Sri Lanka is the only country giving free education and spending 6% on GDP is not rational. These lecturers without doing their duties talking about education. I wonder whether they are asking 6% on GDP as salary.

Is striking the solution? Who is going to teach the inncoent children who are paying boarding fees to keep their places in boarding houses? This is the problem with giving free education.

I second it the proposal of 6% of GDP for education and research. But it should not be just to increase your salaries!

Hope then you can draw a big salary.. If you really love the country education, PLEASE report back to the work. Thousands of students have been victimized of your selfish and cheap action.Don't take them as your shield
