People commemorated victims of the Easter Sunday terror attacks at a cemetery in Katuwapitiya today, marking the 5th anniversary of the Easter Sunday bomb attacks. Over 260 were killed in the blasts which targeted three churches and three luxury hotels in the island in April 2019. A prayer procession was also held from Maris Stella College, Negombo to St. Sebastian's Church, Katuwapitiya to mark the occasion. Pix by Pradeep Pathirana

These commemorations will go on for centuries. Similarly 1958, 1977, 1983, Burning down of world famous JAFFNA LIBRARY, 2009 are etched in History. History cannot be erased by military, Police force.

Very sad day for many who lost lives and the unbearable pain that families have to carry on daily life........cruel people devils should be punished heavily whitout Scot free god blessings for all those been affected by this terrible crime
