Train derails on the coastal line

Train services on the coastal line, between Ambalangoda and Balapitiya –had come to a standstill due to a derailment, the Control Room said.

The engine of fuel transporting train (No. 778) derailed between Ambalangoda and Balapitiya this morning, it said.
