Traditional 'Kadawara Yak Kankariya' performed

An extremely rare and fading ritual in Sri Lanka, the 'Kadawara Yak Kankariya' was performed on Tuesday (21) night in conjunction with the ongoing Esala Festival in Kataragama. Chief Incumbent of the Kirivehera, Most Ven. Kobawaka Dhamminda Nayaka Thera, and Uruwarige Wanniyala Eththo attended the event as guests of honour.
