Sri Pada pilgrimage season begins...

I don’t know it would be wise to do this at this difficult situation and moon soon is expected soon is it logical to do this journey at this time : the government must interfere and delay this for some weeks or days till the normalcy come back ? Why do we need to rush and other declare open it on time but let pilgrims come later after all cleared : Religion vs common sense ???! God forbid if any accident or disaster happens don’t blame the government

The government is incapable of delaying or postponing the pilgrimage on its own. They cannot override the directives of the authority responsible for such decisions—and everyone knows who that is. If the pilgrimage is to be postponed, the decision must come from that authority alone. Their word is final and must be respected
