Special trains bring UNP supporters for May Day rally

United National Party (UNP) supporters paticipating in the May Day rally today were transported to Colombo by special trains. UNP chairman and former Minister Vajira Abeywardene joined then from Ahangama. Two more special trains operate, one from Beliatta and another from Galle, to provide trainsport to the participants of the rally. Pix by D.G. Sugathapala

    This is gross violation of the rights of all the citizens who pay either direct or indirect taxes to run the government machinery and this party has hired in league with the Pohottuwa party, almost all the CTB buses to transport their so -called supporters to Colombo to show their.diminishing vote base.
