We wish her a full and speedy recovery.
This is an object example to past politicians who rushed to treat their family members (even those remotely connected) at foreign hospitals at the first sign of sickness while incurring massive costs to the government.

The little that is known about Anura Kumara's personality shows him to be a man and president with strong character, steadfast and true to his convictions! The photo with his sick mother, which is very personal, goes even further and shows him as a loving, compassionate and caring son who is only concerned about her health and wants to be there for her! Mother and son, a photo that makes the heart happy!!! In our time, this is by no means a given!!! At least from a European perspective!

Leave alone politics. This is a personal matter. It is always nice to see children looking after their parents. Do not make a political meal out of this....

Ministers of previous governments brought substandard medicine and bribed large sums of money. In the no-confidence motion, other ministers and MPs raise their hands to protect that fellow. Are you thanking them all?

If the previous govts utilized our taxpayer funds and grants given without fleecing and skimming a large portion, we would have the best hospitals as good as in singapore and our doctors would not have migrated. The main point here is that he is using a state hospital (not even the best at Colombo and Kandy), and not using govt money to fly her off to Singapore.

Here is a refined version of your text in high-standard English:
She, a proud mother whose son holds a distinguished position, is tenderly cared for as she sits under his devoted watch. Despite her stature, she receives treatment at the government hospital alongside ordinary citizens, exemplifying humility and equality. We extend our heartfelt wishes for her swift recovery and invoke the blessings of the Triple Gems upon her.
Regrettably, even in this comment thread, negativity abounds, with some using the occasion to cast aspersions on our president. Such remarks often stem from envy, as our president, hailing from a modest background, now leads the nation with remarkable dedication and precision.

The best leader of our beutiful country. His honesty, efficiency and simplicity, we can't compare with any other leader we had since independence . How nice to see him with his elderly mother. He has not taken her to a private hospital. We will continously support our President bro

A truly decent politician all Sri Lankans are so lucky to have. Not spending public money unnecessarily although he could easily have spent millions form public funds. At last public spirited politicians in the NPP Government.

@ Imitiaz. Is his mother staying at a hospital built after AKD came into power? Learn to get the meaning of a statement before attacking others.
