SLITA awards 596 diplomas

Industries Ministry Secretary Thilaka Jayasundara addressed the Diploma and Higher National Diploma Certificate Presentation Ceremony, organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Textiles and Apparel (SLITA) at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) yesterday. She said the apparel industry, Sri Lanka’s leading export sector, is expected to contribute US$4.9 billion to the country’s projected export earnings of US$17.25 billion in 2025.
