SL Airport Managers attend training programme in India

A delegation of 10 Airport Managers from Airport and Aviation Services Sri Lanka Private Limited (AASL) successfully completed a customized capacity enhancement programme at Indian Aviation Academy (IAA) in New Delhi from March 09 - 20. The programme was organised within the framework of ongoing bilateral cooperation between India and Sri Lanka in the area of capacity development, the High Commission of India in Colombo said.

The two-week programme provided exposure to the participants to diverse areas of the aviation sector including Terminal Operations, Passenger Terminal Planning and Management; Strategies in Managing Airside; Air Traffic Management, Passenger Facilitation; Aviation Safety and Security; Aircraft Recovery and Equipment; Crisis Management and Emergency, Business Continuity Planning, among others.
